We're the North’s largest, fully flexible blank canvas multipurpose event venue, with four halls and a combined space of 28,000 sqm. We offer space for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners and meetings and create tailored or totally bespoke events to bring our clients vision to life.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager, ideally you will have previous experience within the events/hospitality industry, however, this is not essential. Working alongside our senior management team you will develop new business leads, be responsible for obtaining new clients and positively promote EventCity, its USP, its profile, its products and services to the exhibition, conference and gala dinner markets.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
To succeed in this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of exhibitions, large scale conferences and gala dinners. The ideal candidate must have strong previous sales experience and be an accomplished networker. Candidates must be commercially aware, proactive, self-motivated and hardworking individuals. As a Business Development Manager, you must be a strong communicator, well organised and dependable.
