Access & Loading

When EventCity was being built, we listened to prospective clients and event organisers. We understand you don’t like having a set time to load and unload which is why we don’t make you do that. We allow you unlimited access close to your hall to make life easier for you. You’ll be happy to know that – unusually among U.K. venues – you can drive right into your hall! Our extremely sturdy, hardwearing floor can bear 50 kN2 of weight so feel free to book and then drive in in an articulated lorry, large vessel, caravan or tank.

EventCity is conveniently located close to the M6, M62 and M56; and we're just 2-minutes from the M60. Please use postcode M17 8AS in your sat nav.

We are within a 20-minute drive from all the central Manchester train stations. Our nearest station is Urmston.

intu Trafford Centre’s high-frequency express bus links to Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station (city centre) every 15 minutes early until late, 7 days a week, 363 days a year. You can also catch a bus easily from Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station or Manchester Victoria.

We are close to two international airports. With Manchester International Airport a 15-20 minute drive away and Liverpool John Lennon only 40-minutes drive. We are also on the bus route from Manchester International Airport with a stop adjacent to our venue.

Sustainable Routes

You can walk or cycle along the Bridgewater Way Canal Towpath to get to EventCity and don’t forget, the tram will be here in 2020.
