Preparing EventCity For A Safe Re-opening

Download Our Guide

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the event industry over the past few months, and whilst there is still an air of uncertainty around events, we’re working with our partners and industry associations to ensure the re-opening of EventCity meets all Government guidelines and requirements to be able to host events safely again from the 1st October.

Our top priority continues to be our commitment to offering a first-class service safely for our clients, exhibitors and visitors. We’re closely monitoring and following the advice provided by the Government, the World Health Organisation and Public Health England and we’re ready to re-open our doors and play our part in rebuilding the economy.

Our re-opening plans adhere to strict protocols set out by a variety of standards and leading industry bodies including AIM Secure, All Secure Standard and Visit Britain’s ‘We’re Good to Go’ standard. We’ve enhanced our safety and cleanliness measures and updated operational plans to help keep our visitors safe with new social distancing guidelines and hygiene procedures in place.

We’re working alongside the Association of Event Venues, Association of Event Organisers and Event Supplier and Services Association to support ‘Project Confidence’, an industry-wide initiative to share best practice with organisers, suppliers and other UK venues. We join our peers in taking an active role in the recovery of the events industry and work collectively to bring organised events back safely.

In these unprecedented times, we understand that we need to pull together with our partners more than ever to ensure the safety of guests visiting events and accommodation throughout the city-region. We are working closely with TraffordCity and Marketing Manchester to achieve this and we're on hand to support you with every aspect of the event.

Our team look forward to hearing from you and will endeavour to answer any questions you might have to support you during these times. Please get in touch here.
